Grace Anderson

Grace Eggertsen Anderson Rock Springs- Grace Eggertson Anderson, 94, of Rock Springs died January 9, 2011 in Sage View Care Center in Rock Springs due to complications from a stroke. She was born September 19, 1916 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Burton and Annie Eggertsen. She was raised in Utah and later moved to Wyoming after her marriage to Wells Anderson. They were married August 1, 1935 in Provo, Utah. They enjoyed a happy marriage that lasted well over 50 years. Grace was a life long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She worked at a number of jobs throughout her life. She spent many years as a sales person for the Avon Company. She was always a very active person. She loved dancing and had a very lovely singing voice. She enjoyed sewing and made many beautiful quilts. She loved reading and playing games. Survivors include sons Don Anderson of Mesa, Arizona, and Bert “Lee” Anderson and wife Marsha of Payson, Utah; daughter Lynn Madison of Rock Springs; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Wells Anderson, daughter Connie Haszier, and son Allen Anderson. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2011 in the Spanish Fork Cemetery, Spanish Fork, Utah.
