Gregory L. Smith Rock Springs - Gregory L. Smith, 45, of Rock Springs died Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, Rock Springs. He was born November 14, 1962 in Rapid City, South Dakota, the son of Robert E. and Delores M. Kaster Smith. Gregory attended schools in Rock Springs and was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Community. His interests were sports, music, reading, and collecting memorabilia. Survivors include his mother, Delores Smith of Rock Springs; brother, Steven Smith and sister Michelle Smith, both Rock Springs; uncle, Richard Smith of Rapid City, South Dakota; aunt, Connie Kaster of Norfolk, Nebraska; niece, Stormy Smith of Riverton; several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Smith and grandparents. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 633 Bridger Ave., Rock Springs. A holy rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2008 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Inurnment will take place in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
