Helen Marie Winters

Helen Marie Winters Green River – Helen Marie Winters, 95, of Green River died Thursday, September 15, 2005 at Sage View Care Center, Rock Springs after a short illness. Helen was born April 23, 1910 in Denver, Colorado the daughter of Leeroy and Cara Shaw Ridgley. She married Herman B. Winters in 1937 in California. He preceded her in death February 20, 1984. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Her interests included outdoor activities, painting, collecting, playing with her grandkids, rock hounding, and camping. She attended all sporting events for her great-grandchildren, and played with her great great-grandboys. Survivors include one son, Michael David Winters and wife Deloris of Cliente, Nevada; one brother, Gerald Ridgley of Meadview, Arizona; three grandchildren, Lori Thomas and husband Verlynn, Billy Winters and wife Sally, and Andy Winters; six great-grandchildren, Micki and Chad Thomas, Ashlee Swett, Tyler, Jessica, and Clinton Winters; two great great-grandchildren, Aleczander and Dayne Swett. She was preceded in death by her parents Leeroy and Cara Ridgley; husband, Herman B. Winters, one sister, Paula; and four brothers, Paul, Harold, Maurice, and Ben. Graveside services and interment are pending and will be held at Palm Valley View Cemetery in Las Vegas, Nevada.
