Henry Baker

Henry Thomas Baker “Tommy”, 83, passed away at his home in Rock Springs, Wyoming on October 1, 2026.
He was born on June 7, 1943 in Brownsville, Texas, the son of Joseph Wesley and Lilly (Smith).
Henry married Vicki Ann Probart in Rock Springs, WY; she preceded him in death on August 14, 2025.
He was an Army Veteran and worked as a laborer for most of his life.
Henry was always known for being a very crafty man. He could make beautiful things out of the most mundane articles like matches; he was also very skilled at leatherworking. Above everything else, he absolutely loved spending time fishing, and being with his grandchildren and friends. Family gatherings were some of his fondest memories and he was notorious for eating all of the watermelon.
Survivors include son Justin Martinez(Tandi); daughters Kimberly Martinez, Nicole Osborn; brother in law Curtis Ward; sister in law Karen Carlson(Ken); grandchildren Maycee Crane(Travis), Auston Martinez, Devin Osborn, Kailee Osborn, Shelby Rackley(Conner); great grandchildren Jaxson Crane, Elyce Rackley, Bridger Rackley; nieces and nephews Doug Baker, Jason Engle(Sarah), Jeana Vieyra(Harlan), Angie White(Rod), Kristy Ouellette, April Trujillo; as well as several loved cousins, great cousins, great nieces, great nephews, in-laws, and friends he considered family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Vicki Ann Baker; parents Joseph and Lilly; brother Norman Baker, as well as his nieces Annette Trujillo, Tiffanie Mallea, sister in law Brenda Vieyra, son in law Gary Osborn, and mother and father in law George and Betty Probart, as well as more close family members.
Cremation will take place and services may be announced at a later date.
