Howard G. Logan Green River- Howard G. Logan, 61, of Green River died Monday, October 26, 2009 due to complications with brain cancer. He was born September 26, 1948 in Rock Springs the son of Kenneth and Margaret M. Lenhart Logan. He attended schools in Rawlins and graduated from Rawlins High School with the class of 1967. He furthered his education at the University of Wyoming where he received a BA in Biology. He married Susan Cole on February 14, 1976 in Green River. He had been employed by the Green River School District until his retirement in May of 2003. He also worked as a kitchen designer for Home Depot. He was a member of the Angelican Church of the Epiphany in Green River. He had also been a member of Habitat for Humanity, the Green River Board of Adjustments, Green River Fire Department, Green River Education Association, and had served as the President of the APUW. He also owned and operated two local businesses; Green River Storage and Logan's Lock Shop. His interests included carpentry, computers, fly fishing, golf, telling jokes, being with his friends and family, and the challenge of being a teacher. Survivors include his wife Susan Logan of Green River; son Grant Logan and wife Peggy of Springdale, Arkanas; grand-daughter Abby Logan also Springdale; Uncle Guy Logan and wife Grace of Fullerton California; Aunt Eleanor Smith of Greely Colorado, and several �favorite� cousins He was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Margaret Logan. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Green River High School Auditorium 1615 Hitching Post Dr. Father John Pennington will Officiate. Inurnment will take place at the Riverview Cemetery, Green River. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 5807, Cheyenne, Wyoming 82003 or Hospice of Sweetwater County, 809 Thompson, Rock Springs, 82901.
