Ira Alicia Flor
Rock Springs - Ira Alicia Flor, 68, a lifelong resident of Rock Springs, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at her home following a lengthy illness.
She was born June 16, 1939 in Rock Springs, the daughter of Milford Eversole and Alicia Grace Manning. Ira attended schools in Rock Springs graduating with the class of 1957.
Ira married Robert Flor on December 24, 1957 in Rock Springs.
She was a member of 4-H for many years and also a member of the Women’s Club of Rock Springs . She was a member of the Congregational Church.
She owned and operated Paint Brush Ceramics, Humpty Dumpty Doll Shop, and Bids Janitorial Service.
Her interests included spending time with her family and granddaughters, ceramics, crafting, quilting, crocheting, knitting, scrap booking, and dolls.
Survivors include her husband Bob Flor, of Rock Springs; two sons, Bob Joe Flor and wife Barbara and Danny Keith Flor all of Rock Springs; sister Robyn Zambai of Rock Springs; granddaughters, Nicole, Ashley, and Kayla of Rock Springs; two aunts, Lois Eversole of Rock Springs and Martha Eversole of Lander; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 Monday, April 28, 2008 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs.
Friends may call 5-7 pm Sunday, April 27, 2008 and Monday one hour prior to services at Fox Funeral Home
Interment will take place in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
