James E. Taylor
Farson - James E. Taylor, 71, of Farson died Thursday October 21, 2010 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County after a sudden illness.
He was born January 8, 1939 in Buena Vista, Colorado, the son of Amos and Isabel Taylor. He married Darlene Joy Johnson on July 3, 1976 in Evanston, Wyoming.
He was a veteran having served in the US Air Force.
He had been employed with Texas Gulf in Granger for about 20 years.
He was a member of the New Life Ministries Church in Rock Springs.
His interests were hunting, fishing, horses and his dog.
Survivors include his wife Darlene Taylor of Farson; sons Randy Taylor and wife Lysia of Ft. Bridger, and Darwin Covey of Casper; son-in-law Steve Mines of Farson; daughters Bridget Sarvey of Farson and Sherry Caudle of Bolivar, Missouri; brother Amos Taylor and wife Ragina of Moline, Illinois; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; and his dog "Skooter".
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Lori Mines, grandson Robert Ryan, two sisters and two brothers.
Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs.
At his request, no services will be held.
