Jennie Jane Morgan Shelton

Riverton, UT - Jennie Jane Morgan Shelton, 97, passed away on February 13, 2016 at Brighton House Assisted Living in Riverton, Utah. She had been a long time resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming and a former resident of Williamson, Iowa. In 2008 she moved to Riverton, Utah to be closer to her family. Jane was born in Rexfield, Iowa on June 2, 1918 to Joseph and Alta Gathercole Morgan. She attended school in Williamson, Iowa and graduated from high school in 1935. She married the love of her life, Kenneth C. Shelton, in Princeton, Missouri on July, 4, 1938. He preceded her in death on October 13, 1997. She is survived by her son Clifford (Bonnie) Shelton of Riverton, Utah; two grandchildren, Robyn (Bob) Millerberg of Draper, Utah; Kenneth (Lisa) Shelton of Highland, Utah. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren: Megan, Allie, and Corbin Millerberg; Brooke, Brynn, Drew, and Cody Shelton, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Dan Darby, husband Kenneth, infant son Robert Gregory, sisters Louise Thrall, Clara Sines, Thelma Jean Morgan, Ruby Darby and brother Roy Morgan. Funeral services will be held at the LDS Meadows Ward building, 12459 Dansie Way in Riverton, Utah. A viewing will be held at 10:00 am with the funeral service following at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 18, 2016. Interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Rock Springs, Wyoming Condolences for family can be left at www.foxfh.com.
