Jim H. Brock Green River, WY - Jim H. Brock, 79, of Green River died Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Castle Rock Convalescent Center after a short illness. He has been a Green River resident since 2000. He previously has resided in Montana, Kansas and Missouri. He was born April 3, 1931 in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, the son of Joe Hugh Brock and Cassie McGinness Brock. He married Ann Dorothy Seward April 1953 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on June 25, 1998. He attended schools in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. He had been employed at Montana Power Plant in Colstrip, Montana until his retirement in 1995. He later worked for Renzenberger from 2002 until 2008. He was a US veteran having served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Masonic Lodge in Forsyth, Montana, the Shriners Al Bedoo Temple in Billings, Montana, the Lander Scottish Rite, York Rite, and Lions Club in Morrowville, Kansas. Survivors include four sons, David Brock and wife Betty of Barstow, California, Daniel Brock of Green River, James Brock of Reliance, and Mark Brock and wife Renee of Green River; grandson James Edward Brock and wife Brittany of Fullerton, Arizona; great-grandchildren, Emily, Madison, and Hailey; brothers, Bob Brock of Boise, Idaho, Doug Brock and wife Linda of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; sisters, Anna Hyder of Boise, Elaine Mills of Kearney, Missouri, and Mary Reynolds and husband Ralph of Excelsior Springs. He was preceded in death by his wife Ann Brock, brother George Brock, and sisters Nellie Brock and Norma Wierzbicki. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Family services and inurnment will take place at the Masonic Cemetery in Excelsior Springs, Missouri at a later date. In lieu of flowers, family of Jim H.
