Joan Boschetto

Joan Boschetto Rock Springs - Joan Boschetto, 79, of Rock Springs died September 20, 2010 at Castle Rock Convalescent Center, Green River. She was born September 20, 1931 in Rock Springs, the daughter of Frank R. Daniels and Clara E Dyett Daniels. She attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1949. She also attended University of Wyoming receiving her degree in education. She married Joe M. Pivik on August 17, 1952 in Rock Springs. They were later divorced. She later married Alfred �Fritz� R. Boschetto on April 2, 1983 in Jackson Hole. He preceded her in death on September 13, 2004. She was employed as a teacher from 1967-1978 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School, and for the Rock Springs School District # 1 for 12 years until her retirement on May 1991. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was also a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Her interests include reading, crocheting, teaching, and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Cindy K. Cheney and husband Tom of Conroe, Texas, and Pamela L. McGarvey and companion John Fantin of Rock Springs; grandchildren, Amber & Wayne Harmon, Matt & Ashley Cheney, Audrey & Jimmy Wilkins, Megan McGarvey & Danny Hunt, Maren McGarvey, Michael McGarvey & Jessica Weidler; stepsons, Faron Boschetto and Billy Boschetto & wife Melanie; step-daughter Jeanne Kay & husband Bob; step-grandchildren Lindsay and John Kay, Brett Boschetto & wife Lacee, Bobbie Boschetto, Cole, Justin & Karlee Boschetto; great-grandchildren, Spencer, Royal, & Mitchell Harmon, Kaitlin & Kyle Cheney, Landon & Emma Wilkins, Adison & Jaden McGarvey, and Jemma McGarvey; several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandparents, David and Jane Sellers Daniels, Joseph and Catherine Bain Smith Dyett. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment will take place in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Rock Springs. Family will be receiving friends afternoon and evening Wednesday September 22, 2010 at the home of Pam McGarvey and John Fantin, 3118 Scott Dr. Rock Springs.
