John Mathiott

John Wesley Mathiott Casper - John Wesley Mathiott, 31, died Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at his home in Casper. He was born December 25, 1979 in Rock Springs, the son of James Michael Mathiott and Linda Marie Wiebe Niday. He attended schools in Rock Springs elementary through high school. He had been employed by Greiner Ford in Casper for the past 9 years. His interests were kayaking, photography and spending time with his family. Survivors include his mother Linda Niday of Green River; father Mike Mathiott of Rock Springs; sister Jessie Silva and husband Mike of Washington; grandparents Ronald and Darlene Wiebe of Sheridan, Oregon; aunt Becky Lewis of Salt Lake City; uncle Mike Wiebe of Lebanon, Oregon; several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Margaret Mathiott and great-grandmother Dorothy McElroy. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the Monroe Ave. Baptist Church, 295 Monroe Ave., Green River. Interment will take place in the Riverview Cemetery, Green River.
