Judi Romero

Rock Springs - Judi C. Romero, former Wyoming resident, 53, died February 27, 2012, at an Atlanta, Georgia hospital while visiting her family. She was born February. 24, 1959, in Albuquerque, N.M., to Hubert Romero and Angela M. Hernandez Edens. She graduated from Green River High School with the class of 1977. She had lived in Green River throughout her teen years and also lived in Rock Springs for over 35 years. She was a member of Rock Springs Fraternal Order of Eagles. Judi had a heart of gold. She was a strong woman. Her creativeness with silly words, and her expressions alone, made her unique. Judi had a love for sports and car 24. This always showed with her choice of apparel, “a sports hat”. She is survived by her mother Angela Edens; father Hubert Romero and wife Veda; brothers Mike Romero, Dan Romero, and Rudy Romero; sisters Celina Romero and Iris Romero; daughters Corinna Hedgecock and husband Brandon and Stephani Fajardo; granddaughter Brynna Hedgecock; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by step-father Vern Edens, and sister Patricia Gil.
