Julia “Judy” Edwards Rock Springs - Julia “Judy” Edwards, 66, of Rock Springs, died Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs after a lengthy illness. She was born October 7, 1946 in Rock Springs, the daughter of John McQueen and Grace Phillips McQueen. She attended schools in Rock Springs. She married Gary Edwards in Rock Springs. He preceded her in death Jan. 8, 2001. Her interests were the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with her family. Survivors include her son Brett Edwards and wife Jeanie of Green River; daughters Toni Edwards of Rock Springs, and Arleen Englert of Lander, Wyoming; brothers Rick McQueen of Rock Springs and Ronnie McQueen Oregon; grandchildren Amber Englert, Ashley Marshall, Chad Englert, Kenyon Baker, Greg Edwards, Sean Edwards, and Ashlyn Edwards; one great-granddaughter Hailey Marshall; several aunts, uncles and cousins; 3 nephews and 3 nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Grace McQueen, husband Gary Edwards, brother Bobbie McQueen, and daughter Terri Edwards, who died just the previous night. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. At her request, no service will be held.
