June Rose

June Hope Rose Rock Springs - June Hope Rose, born March 19, 1973 to Charles J. and Dianne E. Schanno in Rock Springs. She left us September 24, 2009 to join the Lord & her beloved “BR” to run in the biggest and best barrel race ever. June attended grade school, jr high, and high school in Rock Springs. She later met the love of her life & best friend Jeffrey Alan Rose and they wed on Nov. 10, 1989. They resided in Rock Springs until 2004 when they moved to Eden, Wyoming. She spent most of her time riding & racing her horses, and in her spare time, fishing, playing with her dogs and cats, and chatting with her friends and family. She is survived by her husband Jeffrey Alan Rose of Eden; parents, Charles and Dianne Schanno of Superior; brothers, Raymond Schanno and wife Kathy of Billings, Montana, Ronald Schanno of Rock Springs, and Jimmy L.J. Kelly and wife Doris of Elkton, Kentucky; sister Elaine and husband Kenneth Rose II of Eden; grandmother Helen Brown of Billings; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by grandparents Francis and Thelma Schanno, and Raymond Brown. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the Sweetwater Events Complex, Indoor Horse Arena, 3320 Yellowstone Rd., Rock Springs, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment will take place at the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
