Kathy Lee Bourrette
Rock Springs- Kathy Lee Bourrette, 48, of Rock Springs died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at her home after a short illness.
She was born December 28, 1961 in Murray, Utah the daughter of Phillip M. Fisher and Rosemary Parrington Fisher. She attended schools in Murray and graduated from Murray High School with the class of 1980.
She married Gary R. Bourrette on March 18, 1989 in Sandy, Utah.
She had been employed as an administrative assistant for Chevron Chemical Co. until 1991. She then became a full-time homemaker.
She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Murray.
Her interests were cross stitch, decorating, tole painting, wood crafts, gardening, growing flower beds, camping, boating, fishing, cooking and canning her garden produce, attending her children's school events, and watching her boys participate in rodeo events.
Survivors include her husband Gary Bourrette of Rock Springs; sons, Cody M. and Tyler D. Bourrette both of Rock Springs; mother, Rosemary Fisher of Murray, Utah; sisters, Gail Swank of Clearfield, Utah, and Irene Kramer and husband Craig of Kearns, Utah; aunt, Dorothy Fors of Mt. Pleasant, Utah; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first born, Jason Phillip Holt, her father, Phillip Fisher, grandparents, including grandmother Louise Driggers, father-in-law H. Ernie Bourrette, and uncle Robert Parrington.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 24, 2010 and one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery, Rock Springs.
