Kathyrn Doak

Kathyrn Marie Doak Rock Springs- Kathyrn Marie Doak, 87, of Rock Springs, died Monday November 16, 2009 at her home after a sudden illness. She was born August 23, 1922 in Superior, Wyoming the daughter of Nick Nicksich and Josephine Hukoveh Nicksich. She attended schools in Superior and graduated from Superior High School. She married George Doak in Rock Springs on April 27, 1947. He preceded her in death on January 10, 2006. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Community. Her interests included hunting, camping, fishing and knitting. Survivors include one brother, George Nicksich of Rock Springs; sister Ann Ferraro of Arvada, Colorado; grandsons Brandon and OJ Doak; numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews She was preceded in death by her husband George Doak, son David G. Doak, and brother Paul Nicksich. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 23, 2009 at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 633 Bridger Ave., Rock Springs. Friends may call 5p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs where a Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Interment will take place in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
