Kazuyo "Nana" East

Kazuyo “Nana” East Rock Springs - Kazuyo “Nana” East, 73, of Rock Springs died Friday, November 6, 2009 at Sage View Care Center in Rock Springs after a lengthy illness. She was born May 7, 1936 in Yokosuka, Japan, the daughter of Yoshio and Shiga Hayakawa. She attended schools in Japan and graduated from high school. She married William H. East in Conroe, Texas June 3, 1966. He preceded her in death May 22, 2001. Her interests were playing bingo, watching pro football, gambling, painting, sewing, cooking, dancing, laughing and spending time with her friends and family. Survivors include her daughter Katherine A. Ryan and husband Steven M. of Rock Springs; granddaughter, Kelsa Lee Ryan of Rock Springs. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill East, and one brother. Graveside services and interment will take place at 12:00 noon Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs.
