Keith Ray Lisonbee Green River - Keith Ray Lisonbee, 68, of Green River, died Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, Rock Springs, following a lengthy illness. He had been a resident of Green River for the past 21 years. He was born December 7, 1943 in Roosevelt, Utah the son of Roy R. Lisonbee and Bernice Mabel Jackson Lisonbee. He graduated from Granger High School in Granger, Utah with the class of 1962. He served and LDS mission to Berlin and then was transferred to the Eastern States Mission in 1963. He married the former Judy Hess of Deweyville, Utah in 1968. Keith was employed in the electric utility industries from 1965 until his retirement from the Jim Bridger Plant in 1997. Prior to moving to Wyoming in 1990, he lived in Wellington, Utah, working at the Hunter Plant as plant training coordinator. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was also a member of the FMCA 4 Wheelers, and the Red Rock 4 Wheelers in Moab, Utah. His interests were 4 wheeling, camping, photography, making furniture for his home, and traveling with his wife and seeing the country. Survivors include his wife Judy Lisonbee of Green River; three sisters, Valora Bloom of Eugene, Oregon, Colleen Thayn of Wellington, Utah, June Wallace of Spokane, Washington; one brother Lawrence of Lompoc, California. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Loraine Duncan and Arlene Taylor, and three brothers, Calvin Lisonbee, Dewayne Lisonbee, and Earl Lisonbee. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Green River LDS 1st & 3rd Ward Chapel, 1000 W. 4th North, Green River where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow in the Riverview Cemetery, Green River.
