Kenneth Allen Muir

Rock Springs - Kenneth Allen Muir, 43, of Rock Springs died Saturday July 14, 2007 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper after a lengthy illness.. He was born November 8, 1963 in Ely, Nevada, the son of Grant A. and Harriet Ann Howes Muir. Kenneth attended schools in Ruth, Nevada , Reliance, and Rock Springs, and graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1982. He had been employed at The Radio Network in Green River. He was a volunteer for the Sweetwater County Emergency Management Agency. He was a member of the Sweetwater Amateur Radio Club. He was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His interests were amateur radio, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. Survivors include his father, Grant Muir of Rock Springs; two brothers, Dean Muir and wife Michele of Rawlins, and Sande Muir of Evanston; grandmother Kathleen Foster of Rock Springs; special aunt Lynn Ryan of Salt Lake City; 5 aunts, 4 uncles, several cousins, nephew Dane Allen Muir, nieces, Allisha, Sandra, and Kathy Muir. He was preceded in death by his mother, Harriet Ann Muir. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2007 at the Rock Springs LDS Stake Center, 2055 Edgar St., Bishop Craig Knudsen will officiate. Friends may call 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday July 18, 2007 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs and one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will take place in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Rock Springs.
