Anchorage, Alaska- Kirk Lee Porcelli, 43, died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Alaska Regional Hospital following a sudden illness.
He was born May 9, 1967, to Tony and Randy Milonas Porcelli in Rock Springs.
After leaving Rock Springs as a teenager, he lived in Nevada for several years. He later moved to Alaska.
He worked for Carlisle Transportation Services as a heavy equipment mechanic.
He interests included art, photography, reading, motorcycles, and girls.
Survivors include his father Tony Porcelli; sister, Markie and husband Mike Walker of Grand Junction, Colo.; brother, Tony Ray Porcelli of Anchorage; daughters Ashley Moore of Reno, Nev. and Nichole Paredes of Fernley, Nev.; uncles, Stan Milonas of Las Vegas, and Rick Milonas of Rock Springs and aunts, Ronnie Milonas Hebst of Albuquerque, N.M., Robbie Milonas of Cheyenne, and Carol Motz of Ione, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Randy Milonas Pocelli; grandparents, Stan “Tiny” Milonas and Mildred Kinniburgh Murphy; and nephew, Anthony Porcelli.
Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs.
