Kitty Joan To Layton, UT - Kitty Joan To, 72, of Layton, died Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Ogden Regional Hospital, Ogden, Utah. She has been a resident of Layton for the past 10 years and former longtime resident of Rock Springs. She was born October 21, 1938 in Hong Kong, the daughter of Sun Yuk Man and Sun Miu Chun. She married Wing Kueng To in Hong Kong. He preceded her in death in 1995. She was employed as a cook at the Renegade Cafe in Rock Springs for many years. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Her interests were watching TV and traveling. Survivors include her son David To and wife YuXing Guo of Layton; brothers Peter Sun of Hong Kong, and John Sun of Toronto Canada;sisters,Lucy Wong and Pansy Sun both of Hong Kong; grandchildren Lillian To and Wenjing Wei; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Wing To and her parents. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, February 21, 2011 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment will take place in the Chinese section of the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery, Rock Springs.
