Larry Keene

Larry L. Keene, 69, of Manila, UT died Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Larry was born August 25, 1935 in SLC, UT the son of Earl and Pearl Lloyd Keene. He attended West High School in SLC, UT. He was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator and Superintendant. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. He married Claudia Rueckert Marsing in SLC, UT. They were later divorced. Larry was a member of the Operators Union Local #3 and the Shriners Club. His interests included hunting, fishing, animals, cats and dogs. Survivors include two sons, Scott R. Keene (Patty) of Manila, UT; Brad L. Keene (Nanette) of Salt Lake City, UT; one daughter, Patti R. Priest of Kearns, UT; one brother, Robert R. Keene (Lucille) of Woodscross, UT; one sister, Lois Farnsworth (Larry) of Holiday, UT; one sister-in-law, Marilyn Keene of Denver, CO; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Pearl Keene, and brother Earl Keene. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs, WY. Graveside services and inurnment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2005 at the Manila Cemetery, Manila, UT. A Luncheon will be held directly after at The Villa, Manila, UT.
