Lawrence "Larry" Kramer

Lawrence (Larry) Kramer Rock Springs - Lawrence (Larry) Kramer 53, of Rock Springs died February 21, 2008 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born October 17, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Earl L. and Carmella Romolo Kramer. Larry attended schools in Magna, Utah where he graduated from Cypress High School with the class of 1973. Larry married Penny Nichols on March 30, 1974 in Magna, Utah. He worked as a master carpenter for 35 years and was a member of the Carpenters Local Union 1620 in Rock Springs. He also was employed as a financial producer for the last 5 years. His interests were spending time with family and friends, fishing, walking his dog "Crocket" kids and meeting new people. Survivors include his wife, Penny Kramer of Rock Springs; one son, Jerad Kramer and wife Amber of Rock Springs; one daughter, Keilee Kramer of Seattle, Washington; two brothers, Clyde Kramer and Gerald Kramer and wife Roberta all of Salt Lake City; one sister Linda Sorich and husband Paul of Salt Lake City; four aunts, Dorothy Kramer, Iola Kramer, and Florence Osborn all of Hastings, Nebraska, and Laura Byrne of Salt Lake City; one grandson, Kade R. Kramer of Rock Springs; four nieces and five nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Jason L. Kramer. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 25, 2008 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, A Street & Broadway, Rock Springs. The Rev. Carl Beavers will officiate. Friends may call from 12 noon-8 pm Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. A holy rosary will be recited at 5:00 pm Sunday, February 24, 2008 at the funeral home. Interment will take place in the Paul J. Wataha section of the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
