Leslie Ann Penoff Odessa, TX - Leslie Ann Penoff, 44, of Odessa, Texas died Sunday September 8, 2013 after a lengthy illness. She was born February 8, 1969 in Gillette, Wyoming, the daughter of Lloyd Rech and Ruth Ellen Oliver Rech. She attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1985. She also attended Western Wyoming Community College. She married Troy Sheldon March 16, 1985 in Rock Springs. They were later divorced. She married David Penoff July 7, 2007 in Rock Springs. She had worked for Anadarko as an administrator until her retirement January 7, 2013. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Community. Her interests were camping, hiking, cooking, gardening, zumba and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband David Penoff of Odessa, Texas; sons Aaron Cole Sheldon, Kyle Lee Sheldon, and Christopher Penoff all of Rock Springs; daughter Devan Nicole Dorigatti of Watertown, New York; father Lloyd Rech and step-mother Deloris Rech of North Dakota; brother Steven Lloyd Rech of Rock Springs; sister Traci Lynn Ellis of Rock Springs; grandparents Loyd and Louise Shindelbower of Wheatland, Wyoming, and Carl Kretschman of Gillete; grandchildren Lindsey, Lily, Porter, Maddie May, Miah Marie, and Alexa; one niece Marki Ellen Ellis and one nephew Braxton Lloyd Rech. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Ellen Rech; grandmother Ardienna Kretschman; granddaughter Marley Marie; grandfathers Jeff Oliver and Stanley Rech. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Monday, September 16, 2013 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, A Street and Broadway, Rock Springs. The Rev. Glenn Szczechowski will officiate. A vigil service with rosary will be recited at 4:30 pm Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. Interment will take place in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
