Linda Lewis

Linda C. Lewis "I’m Just Fine" Linda C. Lewis was born on June 15, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah to James Clifton and Reva Wilde Clark. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 21, 2010 from complications of living over 50 years with Type I diabetes. She graduated from North Summit High School in Coalville in 1960 where she was a student body officer and attended Girls State. After graduation, she moved to Salt Lake City. She retired from Questar after 22 years of service. She loved her great positions there and her lifelong friends she made. She enjoyed the outdoors and went fishing whenever she could. She loved 4-wheeling with friends and cousins and was always looking for beautiful rocks. She loved metal detecting and wanted more than anything to find gold. Linda learned to paint while in her 30’s and these paintings are treasured by her family. She loved to decorate not only her home but those of her family. She enjoyed traveling to Europe, Hawaii, Alaska and cruising. She had many trials in her life and dealt with each trial with dignity and grace, always saying, “I can do it myself.” Linda loved her family, cousins and many friends who were always there with their arm extended to help her walk. They were all so very important to her. Linda’s quiet acts of generosity were felt by many. Her last expression of generosity was to donate her eyes so that others may see. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. They were her most prized possessions. She is survived by son, Michael J. Wolfer, Centerville; daughter, Stephanie (Tony) Rossello, Eagle Mountain; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Douglas Crittenden; 7 grandchildren, Brittany (Carl) Turner, Danielle, Amanda and Joshua Wolfer, Ashley, Ryan and Emily Rossello, and one great-grandchild, Cassidy Linda Turner; nieces Kimberly and Andrea, and many well-loved cousins. She is preceded in death by parents, Jim and Reva Clark; son, Scott Shuell Wolfer; and nephew, Steven Douglas Crittenden. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 28 at 12:00 noon at the Coalville Stake Center, 40 N Main. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 27 at Russon Bros. Mortuary, 255 S 200 E, Salt Lake City, and from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Stake Center. Internment, Coalville City Cemetery. Please honor Linda’s memory by becoming an organ donor.
