Lloyd Harcourt Smith Green River - Lloyd Harcourt Smith, 60, of Green River died Tuesday December 21, 2010 at his home after a sudden illness. He was born December 30, 1949 in San Jose California the son of Lee Alan and Mary Joe Eastham Smith. He attended schools in California and graduated from Campbell Union High School with the class of 1968. He was a US veteran having served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and AARP. His interests included fishing and motorcycles. Lloyd was a wonderful mat to be around and anyone blessed to meet him would testify to that. He is survived by sons Lloyd Joseph Smith and wife Amanda Lee of Ewa Beach Hawaii, and Randal Scott Smith and significant other Alicia Elder of Rock Springs; brother Lee Alan Smith II and wife Karen of Redmond Oregon; grandchildren Syrus Christopher Smith and Brody Scott Smith. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2010 at the First Baptist Church, 527 C Street, Rock Springs. Military honors will be presented by the American Legion and VFW. "Lloyd, you’ve brightened so many lives, and you were an excellent father, grandfather and friend. You will be missed dearly.
