Lois Ann Rochatka

Lois Ann Rochatka Rock Springs - Lois Ann Rochatka, 77, of Rock Springs died Friday October 8, 2010 at the Castle Rock Convalescent Center in Green River after a lengthy illness. She was born April 10, 1933 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, the daughter of Doris Treadup and John Carr. She married Fred S. Rochatka in January 1954 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He preceded her in death on October 26, 2002. She had been employed as a hospital receptionist for many years. Her interests were candlepin bowling, playing bingo, crocheting, and scrap booking. Survivors include her daughters; Sonja Carney and Pamela Jenkins and husband John all of Rock Springs; one sister, Rachael Joaquin of New Bedford; a special friend Janice Faria of Burlington, Massachusetts; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Fred Rochatka, daughter Samantha Egan and granddaughter Natalie Carney. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Private family services will be held.
