Rock Springs- Madge E. Kelly, 88 of Rock Springs died October 25, 2009 at Sage View Care Center in Rock Springs.
She was born January 21, 1921 in Cherokee, Kansas the daughter of Hazel Strode.
She attended schools in Cherokee, Kansas where she graduated from high school. She lived in Superior before moving to Rock Springs where she worked for Stansbury Coal Mine, bartended at Toastmasters, and cooked for the Senior Citizens Center until her retirement.
She was a member of the Green River Eagles Fraternal Order No. 2350, and the VFW.
Her interests included hunting, fishing, and crocheting.
Survivors include her daughter Charlotte Julian; sons Floyd Madison and wife Mary, Wayne Madison, and John Madison all of Rock Springs; 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, grandparents, and uncle.
Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs.
Private family services were held at a later date.
