Rock Springs – Marilyn Alice Miller, 78,of Rock Springs died Monday October 25, 2004 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, Rock Springs.
Marilyn was born March 18, 1926 in Midwest, Wyoming the daughter of Theodore and Inez Wages Moffett. She attended schools in Sheridan, Wyoming. On October 19, 1942 she married Edward H. Miller in Hardin, Montana. He preceded her in death in 1975.
Her interest included her grandkids, crocheting, reading, camping, gardening, outdoors, canning, and ranching. Marilyn and her husband ranched in Sheridan, Wyoming for 32 years.
Survivors include one son, Edward Miller and wife Ronda of Gillette, Wyoming; three daughters, Carolyn Lee Halstead and husband Lester Roger of Rock Springs, Sandra Kay Holt and husband Roy of Baggs, Wyoming, Evonne Christine Colvin of Rock Springs; ten grandchildren, Robin Halstead, Alice Ione Wood, David Halstead, Ambrose Floate, Michael Miller, Matthew Miller, Mark Miller, Martin Miller, Stacy Colvin, and Shelby Colvin; sixteen great-grandchildren, Jordan J. Halstead, Cammeron Scott Colley, Karen Elizabeth Wood, Johnathan Lee Neuenschwander, Braden Halstead, Whitney Mayer, Kailey Mayer, Kristin V. Floate, Alicia M. Floate, Jennifer N. Floate, Tanner Miller, William Miller, Christian Miller, Ryan Gross, Sarah Gross, Matthew Gross.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward H. Miller, and great-grandson Justin Schrimmer.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday October 29, 2004 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs where friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to services on Friday. Eddie Kiggan officiating.
Interment will take place at Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
