Maria H. Bennett Evanston - Maria H. Bennett, 81, of Evanston, died Saturday, January 7, 2011 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born February 12, 1930 in Beuthen, Germany, the daughter of Josef Ferdinand Schibalski and Eliesabeth Berger Schibalski. She married Ora Philip Bennett June 10, 1960 in Erlangen, Germany. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Her interests were fishing. Survivors include her husband Ora Bennett of Evanston; daughter Esther Manes and husband Boyd of Klamath Falls, Oregon; 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Cremation has taken place. At her request, no services will be held.
