Marilyn K. Norton

Marilyn K. Norton Troy, MT - Marilyn K. Norton, 67, of Troy, MT passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at her home in Troy from an asbestos related diseases. She was born April 4, 1949 in Provo, UT, the daughter of Lavar and Florence Thompson. She grew up and attended school in Duchesne, UT. Marilyn met Dean Norton during the summer of 1973, and they married on July 2, 1974 in Bonners Ferry, ID. They made their home in Libby, MT. After W.R. Grace shut down, they moved to Rock Springs and on July 10, 2010 they moved back to Troy. Marilyn enjoyed fishing, camping and her grandkids. She loved making things for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patt. Survivors include her husband Dean Norton of Troy; children Tyler Norton (Amber) and Jaime Norton all of Rock Springs; grandchildren Kaiden, Kyleigh, Kameryn, Myakilah, McKenzie, Tyson, Destiny, Tristen, Brodie, Serenity, and Levi; sisters Judi Sweat and Sue Rogina both of Rock Springs. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Wataha Park Pavilion, North Rock Springs, Wyoming.
