Marion Dee Haughey Green River - Marion Dee Haughey, 80, of Green River died Monday, March 14, 2011 at his home in Green River. He was born June 23, 1930 in Craig, Colorado, the son of Clarence Arrot and Mary Winafred Gates Haughey. He attended school in Craig and graduated from Craig High School with the class of 1948. He married Cleone Anderson on May 8, 1982 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mr. Haughey was a longtime resident of Vernal, Utah until moving to Green River 5 years ago. He had been employed as an oil field consultant for Texaco for 27 years. He was a private consultant until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the Congregational Church. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Vernal and the Masonic Lodge in Craig. His interests were hunting arrowheads, square dancing, fishing and woodworking. Survivors include his wife Cleone Haughey of Green River; stepson John E. Donohoo and companion Julie of Ogden, Utah; stepdaughter Deneen G. Buss of Marbleton, Wyoming; daughters Linda Riley and husband Don of Craig, and Cindy Willems and husband Rod of Morrill, Nebraska; brothers Clarence Haughey of Bothell, Washington, and George Haughey and wife Rose of St. Louise, Missouri; grandchildren, Shaun Sevenski, Holly Buss, Samantha Donohoo, Jennifer Martinson, Kellie Cathcart and Doug Willems; great-grandchildren, Caroline, Abigail Riley, Tess, Mary, and Samantha Willems, Isaiah, Audrey, Auray, and Josiah Sambrano, Liberty and Anjulee Sevenski; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and younger brother Robert Haughey. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Green River 1st & 3rd Ward Chapel, 1000 W. 4th North, Green River. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Fairfax Road at Virginia Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84103
