Marjorie Grieve

Rock Springs - Marjorie Grieve, 78, of Rock Springs, died September 14, 2007 at her daughters home after a battle with cancer. She was born February 17, 1929 in White Clay, Nebraska, the daughter of William and Goldie Hiner Moore. She spent many years in Denver, Colorado, where she married Stephen Grieve and through this union, three children were born. He preceded her in death in 1975. She later married Stephen’s first cousin Anthony Grieve in Green River. He also preceded her in death in 1995. She was a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary in Rock Springs. Her interests were spending time at the senior center and her association with all the seniors. She was loved by all who knew her and she will be missed. Survivors include one son Stephen Grieve Jr. and wife Sandra of Rock Springs; one daughter, Lynda Golnitz and husband Eddie, Sr. of Rock Springs; six wonderful grandchildren, Eddie Golnitz Jr., Rene' Golnitz, Michelle Satterwhite and husband Tommy, Nichole Cox and husband Jimmy, Leah Burton and husband Ken, Mariah Davis and husband Scott; step-granddaughter Jessica Grieve; 15 great grandchildren, 12 boys and 3 girls; 5 step great grandchildren; 2 nephews, William James Moore of Denver and Patrick Moore of Roosevelt, Utah; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by parents, husbands Stephen and Anthony Grieve, one daughter, Valerie Prazma (Jan. 2007), nephew, Michael Moor (2007), step granddaughter Heather Prazma (2005) and one brother Willis. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. At Marjorie’s request, no services will be held.
