Marjorie D. Hays Green River - Marjorie D. Hays, 85, of Green River, died Thursday, April 1, 2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah, after a lengthy illness. She was born July 3, 1924 in Dearing, Kansas, the daughter of Howard L. and Gladys S. Forney Gaddis. She attended schools in Cherryvale, Kansas. She married Freddie O. Hays on November 18, 1974 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were later divorced. Marjorie had been employed by General Chemical for 10 years prior to retirement in 1988. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 2350 and the VFW. She was also a member of the Grace Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Green River.. She is survived by one son, Nelson E. Hall of Fair Play, Missouri; one sister, Pauline Imm of Phillipsburg, Kansas. She was preceded in death by parents, Howard & Gladys Gaddis, and son Norman Ray Commons. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Graveside services and inurnment will take place 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Riverview Cemetery, Green River.
