Mark William Ehrich
Bozeman - Mark William Ehrich, 28 years old of Bozeman, Montana, died May 22, 2010 while ice climbing with friend and climbing partner Mike Kellch in Yellowstone National Park. Mark was born April 12, 1982, in Casper, Wyoming to Rodney and Janelle Ehrich of Casper. Mark was raised in Casper and was a 2000 graduate of Kelly Walsh High School. Mark was an avid outdoorsman who passionately lived for fly-fishing and ice climbing.
He worked as a carpenter in Bozeman, Montana. Mark was an excellent cook who enjoyed dancing and making people laugh. Mark loved to read and express himself through his writing. He lived life to the fullest and pushed toward excellence in every undertaking. Mark left behind the love of his life Lexi Steinberg, his parents Rod and Janelle, his older brother Cordell, his sister-in-law Kelsey, his grandparents Lorriane VanAlstyne, and Dale and Marian Roberts. Mark also leaves behind many extended family members, climbing buddies and many, many good friends.
Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
A memorial service will be held Friday, May 28, at Edness Kimball Wilkens State Park at 1 p.m. Reception following to share in more memories of Mark and Mike at Community of Hope, 2955 E. 2nd Street, next to Hobby Lobby.
In lieu of flowers, the families would appreciate contributions for Mike and Mark. They can be made to the M and M Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo National Bank.
