Mark Franklin Guse Rock Springs - Mark Franklin Guse, 26, of Rock Springs died March 22, 2008 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. He was born March 20, 1982 in Rock Springs, the son of Douglas Franklin and Carrie June Bennion Guse. Mark attended schools in Rock Springs. He also attended the Clearfield Job Corp in Utah where he received his mechanics certification. He married Stacey Kathryn Sodders on September 1, 2001 in Pinedale. They were later divorced. He then married Cassandra Rae Hager on April 20, 2007 in Rock Springs. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His interests were fishing, the outdoors, collecting nut crackers, working on cars, (Chevy fan), and playing with his children. Survivors include his wife, Cassandra of Rock Springs; one son, Erik Tyrone Sodders, and two daughters, Brelyn Krystine Guse and Camlyn Jean-Elmer Hager all of Rock Springs; parents Douglas and Carrie Guse of Rock Springs; brothers and sisters, Robin Wilcox and husband Jeff of Lander, Wendy Lynn Ridenour and husband Steve of Rock Springs, Michael Aaron Guse and wife Delsey of Greenwood, Arkansas, Shane Douglas Guse and wife Nichole Erickson of Rock Springs, and Misty Dawn Guse of Rock Springs; grandparents, Melvin and LaDona Guse of Longmont, Colorado, and Harrison and Barbara Bennion of Garden City, Utah; one aunt, Angela Young and husband James Todd of Syracuse, Utah; four uncles, Todd Bennion of Rock Springs, Kenneth Bennion and wife Julie of Syracuse, Utah, Steven Bennion of Garden City, Utah, and Donald Guse and wife Katherine of Longmont, Colorado; nieces and nephews, Audrey, Steven, Carissa, SaVanna, Nichole, Kolby, Karrsen, and Cheyenne; friends Christine, Mikala and Jessica Young of Rock Springs, Casey Hightower of Colorado; numerous cousins. Services will be held 11:00 am Friday, March 28, 2008 at the White Mountain Ward LDS Chapel, 3306 White Mountain Blvd., Rock Springs, where friends may call one hour prior to the services.
