Mary Carpenter

Mary Carpenter McKinnon - Mary Carpenter, 73, of McKinnon died Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at the Rocky Mountain Care Center in Evanston after a lengthy illness. She was born April 11, 1938 in Minnith, Missouri, the daughter of Joseph D. Warren and Anna R. Lorentz Warren. She attended schools in Missouri and graduated from high school. She married Ben “Doug” Carpenter on April 12, 1986 in Green River. She had been employed by Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County for many years. She was a former member of the Eastern Star. Her interests were gardening and crafts. Survivors include her husband Doug Carpenter of McKinnon; son Joe Owens of North Carolina; step-children, Patty Carpenter and husband Kyle, Rick Carpenter and wife LaDonna, and Nick Carpenter and wife Dawn all of Green River; 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-grandson David Taylor. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
