Michael Duane Brittain Rock Springs- Michael Duane Brittain, 24, of Rock Springs died September 27, 2009 after an unfortunate accident. He was born February 4, 1985 in Bend, Oregon, the son of Duane Everett Brittain and Dannie Denise Delgado. He attended schools in Bend Oregon. His interests included playing with remote control cars, watching cartoons, playing with his daughter Arissa, 4-wheeling, techno music, Pink Floyd, and being with his family. Survivors include his fiancé Kathryn Halstead and daughter Arissa Norma Brittain of Rock Springs; parents Duane Brittain and Dannie Fitzgerald and husband Greg all of Rock Springs; brothers Kevin Daniel Brittain and Jeff Brittain both of Rock Springs; sister Misty Lorrajane Hoxsey of Rock Springs; grandparents Dolores St.Clair of Bend, Oregon and Juan Delgado of Texas; great-grandmother Eva Evens of Bend; and Godfather Danny Heising of Bend; 10 aunts, 9 uncles, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Harold Evens and Everett Brittain, uncles Jeremiah St. Clair and David Garza; and aunt Delia Garza. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2009 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Cremation will follow at Fox Crematory. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the Victory Christian Fellowship Church, 591 Broadway, Rock Springs.
