Michael Dwayne Marse
Green River- Michael Dwayne Marse, 37, of Green River died Wednesday January 19, 2011 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, Rock Springs, after a lengthy illness.
He was born January 23, 1973 in Farmington, New Mexico, the son of Jack Marse and Linda Walden Gould. He attended schools a in Farmington and Salt Lake City.
He married Sara Smith on April 3, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were later divorced.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
His interests included all sports including football, baseball, watching NASCAR, fishing, and spending time with his children. He was an avid Broncos fan.
Survivors include his mother Linda Gould and husband Joseph of Las Vegas; sons, Skyler and Zachary Marse both of Green River; half-brother David Marse of Riverton, Utah; sister Jacqueline Marse of Las, Vegas; half-sister Sarah Shepherd and husband Mattson of Kaysville, Utah; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Jack Marse, son Matthew Chad Marse, and grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Green River 5th Ward LDS Church, 1255 W. Teton, Green River where friends may call one hour prior to the services.
Interment will take place in the Riverview Cemetery, Green River.
