Michael Wilder Green River - Michael Wilder, 57, of Green River died Sunday, October 14, 2012 in Green River from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born March 8, 1955 in Honolulu, Hawaii, the son of Harold and Dorothy Hoopes Wilder. He attended schools in Big Piney, Wyoming and graduated from Big Piney High School with the class of 1974. He received his degree at Chadren State College in Chadren, Nebraska. He had been employed for Sweetwater County Juvenile Probation for about 30 years. His interests were his grandsons, his daughter, his parents, and his dog Beck, going on long walks, spending time with family and friends, spending time in Big Piney, and fishing. Survivors include his parents Dorothy and Harold Wilder of Big Piney; daughter Tasha Bury-Wilder of Rock Springs; brother Brett Wilder of Oregon; sister Debbie Tyler of Big Piney; aunt Donna Bury; cousin and best friend Terry Siddoway and wife Anona of Green River, and Richard Bury; two grandchildren Damien and Daniel Spiers of Rock Springs. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Juanita Bury. Cremation will take place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. Friends and family are invited to a the OT Sports Bar, 95 E. Railroad Ave., Green River for a luncheon following the service.
