Milton Waymond Marshall Rock Springs- Milton Waymond Marshal, 81, of Rock Springs, died Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born February 13, 1929, in Elmo, Utah, the son of Ira Milton and Charlotte Mortinson Marshall. He attended schools in Huntington and attended Carbon High School in Helper, Utah. He married Julia Lambright in Delta, Utah on October 19, 1956. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on April 28, 1964. He was a veteran having served in the US Navy. He had been employed by Black Butte Coal until his retirement in 1992. He had previously worked for the railroad in Sparks, Nevada. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Utah. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His interests included his family, gardening, mechanics, dutch-oven cooking, camping, hunting. He was involved with the Boy Scouts of America where he served as scout master in Reno, Nevada. Survivors include his wife Julia Marshall of Rock Springs; sons Larry Marshall and wife Sally, and Paul Marshall and wife Miranda, all of West Valley City, Utah, Jerry Marshall and wife Robin of Murray, Utah, Steven Marshall and wife Tina of Bloomfield, New Mexico, Shawn Marshall and wife Michelle of Green River; daughters Steffani Baughman and husband Albert, Suzette Williams and husband Ed, and Stacee Hanson and husband Chuck all of Rock Springs; brothers Deloy Marshall and wife Betty of Brownsville, Texas, and Ron Marshall of Ogden, Utah; sisters Arvonna Reynolds and husband Harold of Mesa, Arizona, Janice Garlick and husband Wendell of Centerville, Utah, and Carla Aguirre of Salt Lake City; 30 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughters Suzanne Marshall, and Cathy Newman. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the White Mountain LDS Chapel, 3315 White Mountain Blvd, Rock Springs. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2010 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, and Saturday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will take place at the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
