Nettik Garry

Garry Rex Nettik Green River - Garry Rex Nettik, 66, of Green River and former resident of Rock Springs, died Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the Castle Rock Convalescent Center in Green River after a lengthy illness. He was born February 26, 1945 in Dublin, Texas, the son of Walt Nettik and Juanita Peacock Nettik. He married Gloria Ann Broussard on February 17, 1978 in Houston, Texas. She preceded her in death on December 10, 2004. He was employed as an electrician for many years and was a member of the Local 110 International Brotherhood of Electrical Works. He was also a member of the Baptist Church. His interests included coaching little league football, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, guns, reloading and spending time with his family. Survivors include two sons, Neal Nettik of Bakersfield, California, and Justin Nettik of Rock Springs; daughter, Shannon Nettik of Green River; brother Jerry Nettik and wife Maggie of Draper, Utah; grandchildren Seth Nettik of Colorado, Brittney Johnson of Rock Springs, and Cammeron Kessner of Green River; great-grandchild Dominic Fleming of Rock Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Gloria Nettik. Cremation will take place at Fox Crematory. Private memorial services will be held by the family.
