Oroville, WA - Nikki Michelle Stockman, 31, of Oroville, WA died Monday, May 21, 2007 at the North Valley Hospital in Tonasket, Washington after a sudden illness.
She was born November 13, 1975 in Moses Lake, Washington, the daughter of Kelly Thomas Stockman Jr. and Vickie Irene Pallesen.
She attended schools in Circle, Montana and graduated from Circle High School with the class of 1994. She had recently completed her CNA training and had been employed by the nursing home in Tonasket, Washington.
Nikki was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served an LDS mission in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Her interests were working with handicapped children, attending rodeos, watching bull riding, cooking, and church activities.
She is survived by mother Vickie Bryan and husband Brad of Rock Springs; father, Kelly Stockman of Baggs, Wyoming; one brother, Buck Stockman and wife Megan of Lowville, New York; one sister, Dusti Stockman of Oroville, Washington; grandmother Connie Reed of Manila, Utah; grandparents, Myron & Wanda Slaugh of Vernal, Utah; great-grandmother Wanda Cook of Mt. View, Wyoming; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kelly and Wilma Stockman, grandfather, Lee Reed, and great-grandfather, Thomas Cook.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 26, 2007 at the Manila LDS Ward Chapel, Manila, Utah, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Manila Cemetery.
