Oneil Morrison

Rock Springs – Oneil Morrison, 89, of Rock Springs died Wednesday March 3, 2004 at her home. Oneil was born October 1, 1914 in Clarksville, Arkansas the daughter of H. B. and Jennie Yandell McMillan. She attended school in Clarksville, Arkansas and graduated from Clarksville High School with the class of 1932. On November 10, 1937 she married Thomas R. Morrison in Clarksville, Arkansas. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Clarksville, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on March of 1980. Her interests included gambling in Wendover, reading, old tv shows, gospel music, her children and families. Survivors include two daughters, Sandy Pearson and husband Carl of Rock Springs, and Gayle Benz and husband Darrell of Deltona, Florida; two brothers, Yandell McMillan and wife Isabel of Orlando, Florida, and Tom Yandell and wife Neva of Searcy, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Shelley Jereb and husband Dennis, Kristi Briggs and husband Paul, and Todd Pearson and wife Stacey; and four great-grandchildren, Ashley and Reanna Jereb, and Megan & Kayla Briggs. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas R. Morrison, her parents H.B. and Jennie McMillan, and her sister Berniece Patterson. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 6, 2004 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs with Rev. Ed Mendenhall officiating. Inurnment will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas at a later date.
