Orba Childs

Orba Childs Orba Childs, 78, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2015 in Laramie, WY while moving from Lexington, NE, back to Utah, to reside closer to family. She was born on November 25, 1936 in Omaha, NE to Eva Thomas. She married Richard L. Childs on November 7, 1054 in Elwood, NE. They were married for 61 years. Orba is survived by her children, Roy Douglas (Jeri) Childs, Springville, UT; Sue Ann, Lincolnd, NE; Terrie Lynn (Bill) Ferguson, North Ogden, UT; and Diane Kay (Bill) Kivi, Elgin, IL; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Lee Childs in 1982. Graveside services for Orba Ruth Thomas Childs, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Rd, Bluffdale, UT. The family will greet friends during a visitation prior to the service in the Memorial Park Chapel.
