Patricia Ann Gil Rock Springs - Patricia Ann Gil, 55, of Rock Springs died Sunday October 9, 2011 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born May 21, 1956 in Cheyenne, the daughter of Hurbert R. Romero and Angela M. Hernandez Edens. She graduated from Green River High School with the class of 1974. She had been employed for the last 15 years for the National Guard and the White Mountain Library. She was a member of the Rock Springs Fraternal Order of Eagles. Her interests were the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, riding her Harley and 4 wheelers, going to Wendover and Las Vegas, making people laugh and taking care of her honey Don and her dogs Butchie and Cisco. She loved life as we know it. Survivors include her longtime companion, Don Pedersen of Rock Springs; son Scott Martinez of Miracle, Kentucky; mother Angela Edens of Waynesville, North Carolina; father Hubert R. Romero and wife Veda of Carlsbad, New Mexico; brothers, Mike Romero of Santa Rosa, California, Dan Romero of Kentucky, and Rudy Romero of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sisters, Judi Romero of Rock Springs, Celina Romero of New Mexico, and Iris Romero of Denver; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her step-father Vern Edens. Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory, Rock Springs. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs. After the services, the family would like to invite everyone to join with them for a luncheon at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 211 B. St., Rock Springs.
