Patricia Ann Baker Rock Springs - Patricia Ann Baker, 61, of Rock Springs died Monday, August 19, 2013 after a sudden illness. She was a longtime resident of Rock Springs. She was born October 14, 1951 in Hot Springs, South Dakota, the daughter of Donald Olin Baker and Mildred Lorraine Jackson Baker. She attended schools in Superior and Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1969. She had worked for Wal-mart in Rock Springs for 14 years. She was a member of The First Assembly of God Church. Her interests were spending time with her grandson, hanging out with friends and family, reading, attending church activities, and helping others. Survivors include her daughter Kari D. Baker of Rock Springs; brothers Edward J. Petera of Denver, Colorado, and Donald Albert Baker of Rawlins; sister Sharon Lee Petera of San Pablo, California; grandson Braxton David Cam Reed; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, grandparents, and brothers David Sherman and John Allen (Pete) Baker. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at The First Assembly of God, 2191 Century Blvd., Rock Springs. A viewing will take place 6-8 pm Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Fox Funeral Home, 2800 Commercial Way, Rock Springs, and one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday. Interment will take place in Rock Springs Municipal Cememtery, Rock Springs. The family would like to invite everyone to a luncheon following the services at the Young at Heart Senior Center, 2400 Reagan, Rock Springs.
