Patricia Ray Beck

Patricia Rey Beck, 71 of McKinnon, Wyoming died Wednesday November 10, 2004 at her home. Patricia was born February 18, 1933 in Vernal, Utah the daughter of Fredrick Moroni and Zelda Violet Foy Reynolds. She attended schools in Vernal, Utah and graduated from Vernal High School with the class of 1951. She also attended Brigham Young University. On June 24, 1953 she married Alton Duane Beck in the LDS Manti Temple in Manti, Utah. He preceded her in death. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints and served in many callings. In 1996 Patricia served an LDS mission in the geneology department, Salt Lake City, Utah . She was also a member of the Friendly Neighbors Club in McKinnon, Wyoming. She wrote a McKinnon news column in the Green River Star when her family was young. Her interest included people, activities with her children and grand children, visiting, reading, and keeping up on the news. She had a good sense of humor and was an avid sports fan.. Survivors include three sons, Stephen Beck and wife Carol of Houston, Texas, Douglas Beck and wife Venetia of McKinnon, Wyoming, and Zebulon Beck and wife Ceri of Santa Barbara, California; five daughters, Sally Antonino and husband Gary of Green River, Wyoming, Carol Slaugh and husband Clyde of McKinnon, Wyoming, Julie Shillcox and husband Dave of Green River, Wyoming, Penny Muir and husband Clay of Manilla, Utah, Darla Hukill and husband Mark of Salt Lake City, Utah; two brothers, Caldee Reynolds and wife Kathy, and Ned Reynolds and wife Loretta all of Vernal, Utah; one sister Dixie Ault and husband Kurt of Bloomington, Indianna; forty-one grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Zelda Reynolds; her husband Alton Duane Beck; five brothers, Beldon Reynolds, Jay Reynolds, Elmo Reynolds, Deloss Reynolds, and Glen Reynolds; three sisters, Rhoda Clement, Afton Mitchell, and Madge Wilson; granddaughter Heidi Muir and great-grandson Austin Thomas. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday November 13, 2004 at the McKinnon LDS Chapel in McKinnon, Wyoming where friends may call from 1:00 p.m untill time of services at the church. Interment will take place at the McKinnon Cemetery. Fox Funeral Home, funeral directors, Rock Springs.
