Peggy Sueann Merryman Green River - Peggy Sueann Conner Merryman, 64, of Green River died Monday, June 3, 2013 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born November 29, 1948 in Toole, Utah, the daughter of Samuel A. Conner and Zelda Norton Pierce. She attended schools in Pleasant Grove, Utah and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School with the class of 1966. She also attended Western Wyoming Community College for 2 years. She married John Paul Merryman April 27, 1980 in Rock Springs. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her interests were camping and hunting. Survivors include her husband John Merryman of Green River; son Joe Gates and wife Kassy of Rock Springs; daughter Kristina Mauch of Rock Springs; brothers Randy Conner and wife Edie of Rock Springs, Cameron Conner and wife Lori of Green River; sisters Lorna Barton of Ephriam, Utah, Wanda Barton Sevy of La Verkin, Utah, and Jenny Curby and husband Paul of Laramie; grandchildren Raven Doust and wife Ashley, Nikita Eckhardt and husband Troy, Jacob Doust and wife Kelsey; great-grandchildren TJ and Wyatt, Justin and Kolby John, and Nuvaah Rose; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Tina, and sons Johnny and Shane. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon Friday, June 7, 2013 at the Green River LDS Stake Center, 120 Shoshone , Green River. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 pm Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the church and Friday one hour prior to the services. Interment will take place in the Riverview Cemetery, Green River.
