Raymond Avery

Raymond Avery, 61, tragically passed away at his home in Rock Springs, Wyoming on September 22, 2026.

He was born on November 7, 1964 in Laramie, Wyoming, the loving son of Robert B Avery and Sandra J Hapgood.

Raymond graduated from Rock Springs High school with the class of 1983 before continuing his education at the University of Wyoming.

On August 6, 1984 Raymond married Jackie Lynn Davis in Manila, and together they had a son, his pride and joy, Zachery.

Raymond enlisted in the Unites States Army on April 18, 1986.

As a dedicated employee he worked for the state of Wyoming leading up to his retirement some for 25 years later.

Raymond loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed working with his pinball machines and collecting rare antique marbles. Above everything, he cherished being with his family and Sunday gatherings with friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jackie Avery; his son Zachery Avery; and his brother Richard Avery.

Raymond was preceded in death by his father and mother; Robert and Sandra Avery.

Cremation will take place and private family services will be held.
